Description
people passing, rush from the streets.
unnoticed, tiny, insignificant.
raising the head, trying to reach the sky.
but as the people pass
and as there is rush from the streets,
she is slowly falling,
the sun that used to shine on her precious head can't help her anymore
weathering, shriveling, dieing.
that's her story
the story of the sidewalk beauty.
A little poem I wrote for this flower. I actually never get so sensitive over plants, but this time it's differetnt.
After I shot some pictures of this flowers, she was killed morbidly. As I walked home to import the images, as stranger probably passed her and found it funny to cut her tiny blossoms and stamp on them several times and then just leave it.
Okay, I know, it's no drama, but by the time I passed this flower again and saw what happened to her, it weirdly touched me.
I actually put a cross on the place where it had grown today.
R.I.P. little flower. You'll be stuck in our heads.
